Valuable insight from the creator of modern management
When he died in 2005, Peter F. Drucker had written over 30 books and countless articles.
From these, generations of managers learned the importance of developing their workforce, focusing on opportunities instead of problems and the need to understand competitive advantages while constantly refining them.
Bill Cohen was Peter Drucker's first executive Ph.D. graduate at what is now the Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Graduate School of Management. In this Webcast, he shares a number of key Drucker teachings and insights many of which have never appeared in his written works.
During this hour-long program, Cohen leads you into the special space that was Drucker's classroom ... and shares the magic that this great teacher inspired in his students. You'll hear Drucker's thoughts on such topics as:
- How to build self-confidence Drucker's way
- The essentials everyone needs to be an effective manager
- How to approach problems with your ignorance; not your experience
- Why and how you must develop expertise outside of management
- How to create the future
- How to avoid fear of failure and loss of job
In addition, Bill explores a variety of other concepts that Drucker taught and shows you how to apply them.
This Webcast has been designed for executives, managers, and all aspiring business leaders.
